smiling people celebrating the New YearWell, Thanksgiving is behind us. That means Christmas gatherings and New Year’s Eve parties are just around the corner. And what does that mean? If you want to put your best smile forward, then now is the time to see Dr. Cobb, your cosmetic dentist. There are treatments you can have now that will make all the difference in the one accessory that goes with every occasion—your smile!

Have a White and Impressive Smile

Don’t beat yourself up if your smile is less than white. Consistently maintaining white teeth is difficult when so many foods and beverages are deeply colored.

You can get rid of stains and discolorations with teeth whitening. We offer Zoom! whitening, which can make your smile several shades whiter in just one office visit. And for touch-ups, there are custom-fitted take home trays that you can use whenever your smile needs a touchup treatment.

Cosmetic Bonding for Quick Repairs

If you have one or two teeth that are chipped, a little broken or even misshaped, then make an appointment for cosmetic bonding. This is a safe and simple cosmetic procedure that allows Dr. Cobb to build up your tooth.

After your tooth is prepared, a small amount of composite resin material is applied to the tooth and sculpted to give the tooth a more natural looking appearance. If necessary, the material can be applied in layers until the ideal shape is achieved. Best of all, composite resin can be matched to the natural color of your tooth.

Veneers or Lumineers for a Brand New Smile

Is your smile marred by a combination of imperfections? Then perhaps you should consider porcelain veneers or Lumineers. These are both coverings for your teeth. As such, they can completely transform a smile.

The difference between veneers and Lumineers lies in how teeth need to be prepared before they are applied.

With veneers, a slim layer of enamel must be removed. This ensures that the veneers will lay evenly with your other teeth and not look too large for your mouth.

Lumineers, on the other hand, are thinner than veneers so teeth usually don’t need any preparation. These cosmetic wonders can be bonded to your teeth and if necessary removed without any consequences.

Both require scheduling at least two appointments with Midland cosmetic dentist Dr. Cobb.

With teeth whitening, cosmetic bonding, porcelain veneers or Lumineers, you’ll have a more beautiful smile for the holidays and now you’ll be the confident one at the office party!
