Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Smile Analysis?

Because we want to make sure that you achieve the aesthetically dazzling look you desire during cosmetic dentistry treatment at our Odessa dental office, we offer a complimentary consultation prior to any cosmetic treatment. During this visit, we will carefully analyze your smile so that we can work together and devise the perfect results for you. Dr. Steve W. Cobb will discuss your personal goals for your smile and the treatment options available to you.

My smile just doesn’t look as great as it used to. What would you recommend?

To answer this question, we recommend that you come to our office for a complimentary consultation. During this appointment, we can walk you through your cosmetic options, including teeth whitening and porcelain veneers. If you need a complete smile makeover, porcelain veneers are often the best option because they can correct a wide variety of concerns at once.

How can you help me feel more relaxed during visits?

We know that feeling nervous about dental visits is a common problem, and our Odessa, TX team has gone out of our way to create a comfortable environment. We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), a light sedation option that can improve relaxation without side effects. You can also enjoy the music of your choice and massage pads to relax your back.

My gums bleed after I brush. Should I worry?

Bleeding gums are usually caused by brushing too strenuously or the presence of periodontal disease. Because we are concerned about the mouth/body health connection, we want to make sure that you avoid the troubling symptoms that are associated with this common condition: missing teeth, heart disease, diabetes, and much more. If you’ve observed your gums bleeding, please call us for an appointment soon.
